Re: [ARCHIVED] Can't clean dishes cause of missing trash can (there is one)

This happens to me seemingly at random. Most commonly when lot is loaded into (directly from main menu, when switching households, when traveling from lot and coming back, when traveling and switching control to sim at home) and haven't noticed it happening while already active on lot (but could be happening). Sometimes selecting sink or garbage and doing debug option will fix, but most commonly I have to enter build mode, pick it up and place it somewhere else, and then move it back (doesn't fix if you just pick up and put right back). I have indoor trash, outdoor trash, dish washer, sinks around house, and sink in kitchen (sink set for kitchen and all other sinks for bathroom, sink set as kitchen and all other sinks unspecified, all sinks not specified, sink unspecified and all other sinks for bathroom--doesn't matter, still happens). Incredibly annoying. Dishwasher active but sims won't use it if sink and trash bug out, and then when I go into build/buy to fix the sink and trash and problem is fixed, then the sims default to dishwasher without even interacting with trash or sink. Why, if sink and trash apparently don't exist per the message on the greyed out option, wouldn't sims just use dishwasher anyway then?? Confusing. Aaaaaaaaah.
