Re: [ARCHIVED] Constant phone calls and text messages

This is so much worse since patch 1.84. My Sims get calls from people who are actually in the room chatting with them at the time, which is obviously impossible. They call to hang out while they are actually already hanging out...because they called earlier to hang out and I agreed to it. The phonecalls also start much earlier and go on much later. It never stops ringing, I just had Father Winter visit a few days ago and got so many calls from him about dating that I actually created a partner for him so they'd stop. People they've just met phone to visit constantly but then the call changes mid ring into a different subject like asking them to visit their home instead or just wanting to chat. So effectively the same Sim is ringing them for 2 different reasons at the same time. It's clearly broken. I still think it would help if we had the option to exchange numbers with friends to be more selective or if we had a call filter.

I'm also still getting the calls while on vacation despite it being impossible to accept invites during this time and it's more than once a day.

I had one call that popped up as I was live dragging a flower arrangement onto a shelf, I got the vase stuck on the pointer and couldn't put it down. I couldn't dismiss the call while I was holding it. I had to restart my game.

@sovereignsimmer you will still get calls with the phone on silent but you may need to put the phone on silent each time you load your game. I find that mine needs to be set to silent each time I start playing or it starts ringing again.
