I assume this happened when they updated gardening and all produce spawns at 5am, but only if you're actively on the lot.

I have MCCC and the extended debug cheats enabled, so I spawn fruit, set plants to need watering, etc. etc.
Honestly, my rule is that if it's a bug I'm allowed to cheat to get around it, so...
Which is totally fine and valid. But I don't want to have to do that. I want EA to fix the pack, which was very expensive. I don't know if this is a problem exclusive to PC (as that's the only place I play), but it's even worse if it's happening on console where people *can't* mod away mistakes.
I feel the same way. The last time I tried to play as a scientist, using workarounds for this issue just didn't feel authentic nor did it feel like I was accomplishing anything. I need to feel that sense of reward, but I need to earn it. To my knowledge I didn't have this particular bug on PS4, but I only played the career once there so there's not much of a comparison. I did actually have different bugs on PS4, but on the other hand I purchased it a second time to have a better overall gaming experience on a different device and I still got foiled haha.
