Re: [ARCHIVED] [HR] [CD] [CoL] All animals aging up/dying (aging turned off)

Cats, dogs, and horses will age or not according to the main aging/lifespan settings for your human sims, as they are part of households. The animal aging checkbox should only affect cows, llamas, and chickens…and now probably sheep and goats.

With animal aging unchecked, you’re still getting cows, llamas, or chickens auto aging/dying of old age? When did your sim purchase them, before or after the patch?

  • I have aging off set on everything, my sims aren't aging but their household pets & livestock are. Livestock were purchased after the patch.

  • @NotDafina They moved the aging animals check box to the gameplay section after the lastest patch. Is that unchecked?
  • @NotDafina Definitely a bug then. When the patch updated for me I repaired my game and had to recheck everything. I was hoping that might have been what happened for you too.
