I tried deactivating Social Bunny after reading a suggestion to do so because I've had problems for months. The minute I reactivated it. I could post. I'd suggest people trying this as well. 

I've tried deactivating and reactivating, and everything else mentioned, still have this issue.

I'm having the same issue. It's the first time that ever happened to me.

My sim sometimes will post whatever actual post she can, but more often than not she will try to click it and nothing will happen. 

She can still tag people and send messages but actual posts mostly don't work.

I tried deactivating and reactivating social bunny, and I also repaired the game but nothing worked. 

This is broken for me after latest update.

I try to post on my sim's timeline about events and it isn't working.

It doesn't apply to every single type of posts. I can post f.ex. about homework, but can't post about school orientation, career day or about lunch.

I'm wasn't really interested in Social Bunny so I never used it, but I thought I'd give it a try and for a few days my teen sim was fine with posting new things.  However now no matter what I do I can't make a new post, I have the option and it goes through the motions but the actual post never shows up.  I can send messages and tag other sims but a new post just doesn't work, and I also tried deactivating Social Bunny and reactivating it but the problem still persists.  He did die and was brought back with a death flower but he was still able to post new posts for about a day after that had happened.

I just started having this issue with one Sim. After repairing the game and removing my mods (only MCCC and WW), it was still broken. The suggestion to deactivate, change outfit, reactivate, and post fixed it for me. Thanks so much!
