After completing week 2 of this event, I now have 3 different Grim Reapers in my game. How do I get rid of the extras?

I may have gotten another grim reaper today completing this week's event goals. There are two in my sim's relationship panel right now.
I also lost the list of tasks when I traveled but was able to get them back by saving and restarting the game. It did make me redo a few tasks though. Still buggy, still annoying.
After 4 weeks of this, I'm more than ready for it to be over. This event is way too long. The tasks themselves don't take long but making us wait a week for the next step is just too much.
