Hello, so it start happening again.

I have 3 sims in a family actually.

Now the glitch is getting more annoying, because when someone comes with her at the spa, I make them go home,

but only few minutes they will go back again.

Then during that glitch happens, she also twist her hands when massaging or customer go on her lap while doing pedicure.

And bath tub on spa gets broken too. And when I try offering a massage or something, they will just ignore it.

This is too much now, I can't finish my aspiration because of this.

The delivery even made my progress go back to 0.

I thought EA want us me to experience the best one. uggghh

I restarted sims and play again.

Glitch keeps happening, other sims go home and come back at spa for a few times.

So I just stopped and come home.

And when I come home, my aspiration is AGAIN back to 0.

I really hate this.

What do you expect to see? Sims should stay at work until their work day is over.

Sims are leaving work early when other sims in household travel.

I had this same problem today too.  Two sims, one in the Detective career, one in the culinary career.  Went with the Detective to work, and when he finished his shift, she came home too.

I think it's loading screen related, because I had the same thing happen earlier in the same save when I popped into CAS to adjust an outfit on him while she was at work  (he had the day off)

And while I'm on PC, I am currently Modless (as I remove them before every patch and I haven't put them back yet.)

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play any household with multiple members, send one Sim to work, then travel with the other Sim anywhere, then back home. As soon as the travelling Sim comes home, you'll see the problem
What happens when the bug occurs? Any time a Sim is travelling back home from somewhere, all the Sims in their household who are at work also come back home early even if their shift isn't finished
What do you expect to see? All Sims should stay at work until the end of their shift at all times

Ever since the update with the pronouns, this bug has been affecting my Sims.

They also can't travel to work from anywhere else, as they automatically arrive home when the POV comes back there.

It doesn't affect children at school, just adults at work

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have at least one sim be at work and another somewhere off the home lot. Have that sim return home.
What happens when the bug occurs? When the active sim travels home, any sims who were at work (non-active) will return home also, with a notification saying they are done with work. They are unable to return to work.
What do you expect to see? Sims at work will stay at work for their whole shift, unless I tell them to come home, regardless of the travels of other sims in the household.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

What happens when the bug occurs?  My main sim goes to work (household of 5) when one of my other sims is not at school or work she comes home early. Today she was on a date, I sent her to work from the date and it took us home and said she made $4 at work. I’ve barely made any money which my sims in my gameplay need. 
What do you expect to see? All Sims should stay at work until the end of their shift at all times or unless I activate them to come home early.

I'm still getting this issue and it's so frustrating. Every time I have a loading screen that leads to my home lot, everyone is standing on the front lawn "changing their phone covers." This causes them to leave work/school early and their performance suffers.

I hadn't thought of that, you could be right. "Change phone cover" is constantly appearing and this may cause all Sims to be present on the home lot.

Yes, I think this is correct. I've been experiencing this bug too but I think this is the cause, at least in my game.

I am also having this problem.  When I'm playing my active sim on a lot other than home, and then I return home, my supposed-to-be-at-work sim is suddenly home, and is treated like they left work early (lower pay, performance hit), and the supposed-to-be-at-work sim has the "change phone color" action queued at that time.

One thing I noticed is that when I'm on the other lot, and then select travel to go home, when I'm in the map screen, it shows that my supposed-to-be-at-work sim is at home.  But then, if I cancel the travel and remain at the other lot, it still shows that sim at work like they're supposed to be, with usual options to work hard, leave early, etc.  So you can actually see it about to happen and still cancel it while in world view.  It's only once I actually return home that the other sim is suddenly there.

This didn't start happening right when I got the new patch.  It started right after the first time I intentionally used the change phone color feature.

@AmillzSlushoWhat mod are you referring to?  I tried googling "change phone cover mod fix" and couldn't find it.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You need 2 Sims in the same household. Sim [A] goes to work, Sim [B] (the active one) travel to another world. Sim [B] returns home before the time when Sim [A] finishes work. When home, Sim [A] is already there.
What happens when the bug occurs? The Sim who should be at work returns home earlier than expected, along with the active Sim who was returning from another neighborhood/world.
What do you expect to see? I would like the Sim at work to stay until the end of his working hours.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Only a couple of CC hair in this save. No Mods.

I think it's related to the phone idle interaction.

Be really nice if they fixed this already. It's extremely hard to play, when this happens. I haven't even bought HSY yet, and I don't want to until this is fixed, since I can't do anything that leaves the house I'm playing, without causing other sims to come back and mess up their stuff.

Thanks, but this should be fixed and should not require outside mods, which is the purpose of this page. 🙂
