Re: Body changes made to male sims with female physical frames get reversed in live.

This happens with both normal and occult sims. I've done some testing and pinpointed the problem to be custom gendered sims downloaded from the gallery. I can safely say that these downloaded sims weren't a problem before the February 15 patch.

Okay forget what I'd said in my last post. Now my original complaint was about body changes made to male sims with a female physical frame gets reversed in live mode and that the fingernail option weren't available to them. I forgot to say that I used a work around method to put the fingernails on this custom gendered sim but this method I believe has corrupted this sim to the point that changes you make to body parts don't stick when exiting create a sim.

Now I've created some steps to recreate the problem and tested them time and again so unless this isn't a platform specific problem but a universal one you should be able to see the reversal changes to body parts.

Step 1 - Go to 'manage world" choose any household, then 'manage household', then 'edit add in create a sim'.

Step 2 - In create a sim go to 'add new sim' and create a male sim with a feminine physical frame. Put this sim in a bikini ( to be able to spot the difference more easily ).

Step 3 - Use the body sliders to make this sims legs, thighs, hips, and butt as plump as you can make them.

Step 4 - Go to the fingernails section and as you should see there are no fingernail option but there's a work around to this and I think this work a round is what corrupts this sim and constantly resets there frame.

Step 5 - Change the sim to a male sim with masculine frame. From here go back to the fingernails and they should be available. I don't know if it matters but choose the french nails that was recently released, go back to the physical frame, and choose the feminine frame again. As you can see with this work around, this custom gendered sim now has nails.

SIDE NOTE: You may have to make this sims legs, thighs, hips, and butt plump again.

Step 6 - Click the 'play' button to exit out of create a sim. Now choose the household that has the newly created sim and play with that sim. Upon loading into the household you should see that this custom gendered sim has all of there body parts reset ( legs, thighs, hips, and butt ). Now no matter how much you go back into create a sim to redo this sims body parts everything will reset upon loading back into the world as if this sim is corrupted.

Im having this problem as well but I haven't done the fingernails thing. I keep going into CAS and fixing my sim (who has the male option selected with a feminine frame option selected)  and when I either reset the game or leave CAS and play for a while, his body shape-like- resets to a weird hourglass shape with wide hips, a slender waist, and petite shoulders. No matter how many times I fix it, it keeps resetting his body shape. It's weird and kinda annoying atp. Like, I know I said I wanted a feminine frame, but whatever it keeps resetting to isn't what I meant 💀

I have TS4 on my Xbox and on PC, and, if I remember correctly, the problem is present on both platforms. The screenshots are from TS4 on my PC.

i have the exact same problem, please let me know if you found a solution. like i tried to just ignore it and give him all baggy clothing to not see the monstrosities but atp its annoying me too much and it seems like ppl haven't found any solutions yet? or at least i couldn't find any. im playing on pc btw
