EA StaffJust want to update this thread - I've been told that in The Sims 4, it's by design that if you queue a Sim action on the fridge and then queue an action from another Sim on the fridge, the Sim that queues the action second will route fail.
But the game was not like this before Get Together expansion and I remember that very well.
If we had three Sims in different locations of the house and we put them to use the fridge in the same time, they was used to do it normally and just fail the action if someone were in front of the fridge at the moment the Sim would take the food from inside.
I think I'm not the only one to remember the game had not this problem right from the start...

So I checked the version of the game that was first released (Sept 2014), and the version that was released right before the Get Together expansion, along with a handful of versions before and after that expansion released, and they all had similar behavior - the second Sim route failed immediately (or near immediately).
@ceunon20 To be honest, I also remember my Sims getting food without problems, even when queued at the same time... So, was the fridge working 'correctly' a bug?
