Did it work for you before the patch ?
From my experience the game has always only allowed one bartender. If it is intentional, that is unfortunate as it really creates crowds around the one working bartender when you invite 15 sims to a venue. In the sims 3 you could have multiple bar stations staffed with bartenders.
Guess it's a case for the feedback forum then 🙂
