Not sure if this actually is a bug. I think I had two grocery deliverers already before the mayhem started where important Henford NPCs would change about every day. It makes sense for the game to have generated a duplicate because the grocery deliverer can be pulled as a walkby in Henford neighbourhoods but then if you order a delivery and the guy (Rahul Chopra by default) is already in the neighbourhood then that's kind of a problem because he can't be pulled to fill the delivery role if he's already there as a walkby. So then the backup guy/gal is pulled and you can still get the delivery normally. I used to get either one of those two guys in my game before everything went crazy and I didn't mind it all, I just gave the other guy a makeover. I'll rather have the delivery person show up as a walkby and have one or two extra people for the role than to never see him unless I order a delivery. (Would be pretty tedious to get errands from him too if I had to summon him myself each time.. :D So all in all this is probably better for gameplay!)

Also you can test this just by ordering two separate deliveries and see who shows up. 😉

    @siirysiir I always had multiple too but Rahul was the one showing on the board for me always. I think that shouldn't change.

    @crinrict Ah yeah that bit, kinda forgot about it. But true, it would be good to keep him there. (I never actually look at that info board because it doesn't really.. do anything for gameplay doesn't it?) Just by looking at the hidden traits these delivery sims have, they don't seem to have any system to make Rahul (or anyone else) the "original" or special from the other sims in any way so maybe they'd have to implement something just to give him that "original delivery person" status somehow. Can't see that happening very soon though.. 😅

    It would be helpful to us players if they added an interaction on that board so that we could assign those sims to the roles in case something goes wrong. This would be great if we wanted to make changes to them anyways, like not having immortal sims like the Crumplebottoms. (Now that they're just the same characters always, when I think they should be old enough to die in my game I'm going to cas.fulledit them to some other people just for immersion's sake!)
