EDITED Because I have a habit of being long winded 😉
So, This is not a "glitch". This is part of how the window is constructed as a 3d model. It's "sliced" and... well...
There is what is rendered inside, What is rendered outside, What is always rendered, and all the glass, wall, shadow parts...
Like in the picture... look at the "window sill" it's seen both inside and through the window. I can see it at that angle, right? So the game must render that part of the model.
Above the wall and OUTSIDE...The game does not render That side. the deco elements, because they are outside.
BUT the "middle" of the model... the glass and "window sill" it HAS to render complete... see...
Inside. Middle. Outside. the "wall" is what tells the game to split the render. IF you take the window and place it without a wall with MO... it just renders all the parts all the time...
So to only make the game work as hard as it has to... windows doors ext... all have this style of structure inside the model.
I agree it's jarring with these windows in particular as the Deco Elements are large and well the effect of the shift is noticeable more and more often.
hope that is of help at least to ease your mind on it. I am sure EA understands this situation. It's just to stop it requires remaking the eco windows, but how? More render = less performance. and is it really worth it for everyone?
Most of the time this does not bother me. a few windows and doors well it does. But then... OCD and all 🙂
It's a hard call for EA to make here. and the only solution I have come up with myself is the remake of the windows and doors with models that render more.
I am myself working on remakes/expansion of these windows as well as the eco doors.
Mine will render the deco elements all the time, have more sizes and be seamless, as well as have deco/counter/seat slots built-in!
Among other things 😉 So if you use modes... keep an eye out...
BUT I will say it's not always better for them to always render in my testing... For emersion in-game and photos... it's great. but just like columns Sometimes, will they are in my way. lol
