Re: [FIXED] Caterers don't Cook Wedding/Birthday Cake

@crinrict I have been doing a challenge play though at my 64x64 lot in Brindleton Bay and have hired a carter 4 or  5 times for random house parties and they never cook at all, they won't even go to the refrigerator or stove! Any tips on how to get the caterer to work? They don't have an option to click on them to even request them to cook! Is it at all possible to have an optional click on them to have them to cook?

I tried another lot @crinrict, and the caterer worked on it! So back to examining my current lot to see what the problem is!

So the problem with mine seem to be the island counters! I had the island counter free for them to use and they never cooked when I hired them! I set a counter down in its place and when I hired them the next time they went straight for the refrigerate and started cooking!

    Hi eveyrone!

For those of you having issues with the caterer in Myshuno Meadows, can you try cleaning up the pans prior to the caterer performing their action? Does that fix the issue for you?

    Thank you very much! :D

I tested to have a wedding at the Center Park Myshuno Meadows in San Myshuno; the caterer did not make a wedding cake. I went into build mode and removed the pot and pan placed on the stove, and then held a wedding there; the caterer made a wedding cake first thing. I held a birthday party there, (with the pots and pan on the stove), the caterer made no cake; but once my sim 'cleaned up' the pans (and threw some of the parfait away), the caterer got to it. I don't have Pets pack, so cannot try in Brindleton Bay, but maybe there is something blocking the stove/counter/fridge there too; a cake needs those to be made.
