I have this same problem with doors. I've had the cutaway walls in apartments issue for quite some time, but since the latest patch I also have this doors issue. No doors disappear in apartments in walls down or half down mode, in live mode and in build/buy. I know it was this latest patch because I was playing in an apartment with no door issue right up to the patch.

I thought it was a cc/mod issue so I tried all the normal methods, removing all cc/mods, repair game, remove localcache etc. but it's definitely the game not me.

    Have you found a solution for this? I am having this problem with all the lots in San Myshuno

    @ToucheFouche Some people are making the doors smaller but on mine that didn't work. No other solutions I've found. I also have this problem in University dorms plus city apartments. They are basically unplayable b/c the view is so hard to work around. Might could alter for minimal doors in the apartments.

    Ah gotcha, thanks for the reply. That sucks about the doors in apartments and dorms I really hope they fix it but I won’t hold my breath.
