So now that I've put them in the household inventory and moved, I got a notification saying that chicks and hens were going to get a visit from the grim reaper.  Also it said that they were unhappy in the inventory, so I had to get them out and click destroy object, which is appalling.  I can't assign the Llama or cow to the shed, so it remains to be seen what happens.  their pictures are greyed out when clicking assign to shed.  What an upsetting and awful bug.  I'm sad enough destroying my chicks and hens, roosters, but a visit from the grim reaper would have broken my heart. and the message "one last pet..." that's pretty sick.  Takes me right back to a few months ago when my dog died and we had one last pet and kiss before she was put to sleep.  She had diabetes and had gone blind and wasn't reacting to the insulin anymore.  We struggled for years to keep her alive.  Now you do this to me when I play a game to take my mind off it all.  Plus I have relatives in hospital with the new delta variant who are very old, so this is a rough time.  How cruel and tasteless of the devs to put this feature in.  The sort of person that pulled wings off insects as a child would most likely come up with this! 

So to avoid Grimmy, I had to get one of my sims to get all the chickens in the coop and sell them. He was heartbroken and so am I.  I'm uninstalling Cottage Living and if you can't fix this bug, I want a refund.  It was expensive and also I didn't even get my pre-order gifts.  Just like I uninstalled Eco as it can't be used as it's too processor heavy.  That's a lot of money for 2 packs that can't be used. And the Bust the dust kit, that's 3!  All unusable because EA give us options that don't work and sick consequences, just when we were really getting into enjoying the new pack!

Uninstalled for the second time.  Money back please? Also for Dust the bust, Eco Lifestyle, small pets thing... Had two cottage living for some strange reason, the pre-order and the normal one. Uninstalling the whole game as I type and will never use these packs, EPs, Kits again.  Can you help to find out how I get a refund?  Thank you.

Cottage living, Bust the Dust, Eco living now completely uninstalled.  Back to the science career which I enjoy, but I will miss the nice things about cottage living.  It was fun farming, going to fairs, meeting the locals, doing errands...  But my Golden Rooster on fair day was threatened by the reaper. I worked so hard to get a very happy, golden rooster and other livestock. The last thing Rossiter did for me was upgrade all my plants. It was so sad calling him back to the coop. He came running, happily only to be sold to spare him from Grimmy.  Come on EA, please cut us some slack here.  Now all my ribbons are gone and hard few weeks wasted.  I miss the good things, but you lying to us about anti aging has really sent me and my sims nuts today.  I'm sitting here with bloodshot eyes, pleading with you to fix this game for all out sakes. we were so enjoying it.  :'(

I got the same problem! Worked fine before and all of a sudden all of my animals started dying! Whatever I do I can't seem to fix this bug. Please help this is making me really want to never play the game again. If I knew the option didn't work, I would'bt even have started playing the sims again. This is a big issue for some people. I don't want to lose all my progress either... loosing animals is a sensitive topic for so many people, i feel it should be taken seriously 😞

I still can't play animals, yet I see more kits and updates for other stuff happening. Like others say, this really needs to be taken seriously. How sad that people have a pack they can't play. It's a lot of money to lose. ☹️

So, still blessed with bugs, the major one already having been reported. but now onto the smaller ones. This, my rabbits keep dying, no matter the aging setting. Sometimes they last for a while, sometimes only a sim day. It's terrible and needs to be addressed asap.

Is there any update to this issue? I understand it taking a lot of time, but has there been any updates to it?
