Same thing, I tried and it won't come up as an option. I even cheated to completely max the rest of their friendship, nothing. Then I cheated to remove one of them from the family and add back in, nothing. I'm about ready to throw in the towel and just trash the scenario but keep the characters, why should we have to bend over backwards to fix these bugs when EA should be the one fixing it? Is everyone having this issue?

So, you actually need MCCC to enable certain cheats (this thread regarding removing a different problem thing explains where to find the option in MCCC: https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Feedback/Removing-Super-Sibling-relationship/m-p/9377078#:~:text=So%2C%20if%20you%20have%20SIM,be%20removed%20from%20both%20sims.) . So, this solution does work, but it's not actually one that can be done without mods, since certain cheats can only be enabled with them. Sorry :/

I tried removing and adding the siblings using testingcheats and the modifyrelationship cheat. None of them worked for me. I don't have any mods in my game.

I see this response was in July and I still have this issue here with the latest update and no mods or cc at all. In fact I removed all mods and CC, uninstalled the game and the app and reinstalled everything from scratch as I had issues with most scenarios. 

Now I have completed all the welcome scenarios and I got to this one where I am stuck, issue seems to be between the two sisters but they are now best friends with positive sentiments, from cooking together and deeply connected but it still not checking it and i still have the option to get Lily to apologize to Ava for the umpteenth time.

I had given up on scenarios, I recently got a new gaming laptop and I thought since I'm going to install the game from scratch let me try. Same thing, they're all good friends with each other no remaining negative sentiments....still not completing. I ended up adding MCCC mod to manipulate the relationships as it got tiring but this didn't work either. It's kind of disgusting how EA takes all the money and the glitches remain while modders fix all the faulty stuff and get nothing.....for the parenting predicaments I had to play the whole scenario 6 times to actually get it to work....

so I figured out a manner in which to be able to fix this without cheats or anything. It’s just a bit of work around. First you start off by going to manage worlds save before obviously. Then open the option manage household click on your household and edit your Sims. From there you want to save the household delete the two siblings, which ever you want import the family a new and delete the extra Sims. Once this has been done, they will retain all skills previously earned all edits, and it will fix the bug and allow you to progress once you go back into the household. You can use this to just bypass the entire first portion by changing the relationship status to close.

Edit: I did everything on bass game no mods, no cheats or anything in that nature I have used endgame exploits, such as disabling, your played household, placing a bunch of valuable objects, while in unlimited build mode that are of high value like the violin loading in and selling them for money as it doesn’t count towards your actual total balance, but beyond that and this current fix, I have not tried anything or done anything other than what’s in the base game and I have every single pack and every single expansion

This is doing my head in. Not only do the negative sentiments keep coming back after I clear them, I manged to get two siblings to befriend each other and the next time I logged back into the game the task was unticked again (even though they're still friends).

Third run-through of this scenario - I abandonded it the previous two times. Talk about glutton for punishment.

This bug is still happening! Can we get a fix please?!

All siblings have great relationships with each other and their grandmother. NO negative sentiments, only positive.

I do not want to have to do the edit relationships hack to make this work! 

One year later, I can’t believe this is still not fixed. I am losing my mind over the audacity of having so many bugs that are not being fixed,

while launching another expansion to add even more broken features to this game.
