Slight correction - my sim didn't get to attend the awards. It appears that this workaround disables the event. Once I loaded another lot, it was gone from the calendar and my sim was at the Studio lot, but no event happened. At  least I'm able to continue the save file but the fun has been sapped out of me.

I really wish the team was able to get a handle on all of these bugs that happen with every update/every pack. Just looking at the chaos of this forum speaks volumes - this game may be too ambitious and that's the nicest thing I can say right now.

Like the rest of you on this post I am getting the same error.  It started after the 26 July 2024 1.108.335.1020 patch.  I cannot figure out any action that triggers it.  For me, when the error occurs it happens when traveling to any commercial (i.e. non-residential) building in Britechester.  I have uninstalled all mods, repaired the game, and played with an older save that was created before any mods were installed.  The error still occurs, usually after the third attempt to travel to a commercial building in Britechester.  In my case it is the Laurel Library lot, but once the condition has been triggered traveling to any commercial building in Britechester results in the error.

I have found that after the error occurs if I then travel to a residential building in Britechester, everything works fine again.  The steps I take:

1)  receive error message;

2)  click on "go back to world select";

3)  click on the Sim household you were playing when the error was triggered;

4)  select a Sim that was NOT the sim active when the error was triggered, otherwise you will not be able to reload the game from the world select screen (seems the game thinks that Sim is at the affected lot);

5)  use any Sim from the household and travel to a residential lot in the affected world (in my case Britechester);

6)  from there travel to a commercial lot in the affected world;

7)  play the game as normal.

Doing this I have been able to make 8 trips to Britechester commercial lots without the game crashing.

Maybe this solution will work for others until EA fixes the bug.  In the meantime, don't go through the hassle of testing mods et al. and deleting a bunch of your content as the mods are not the problem.  I normally play the game with a handful of mods and no CC.  Players on gaming platforms that don't allow mods are also getting this error.  It's not you, it's EA.

"@RealTirreal you are a HERO! this worked for me (PS5) to get past the error and let my sim attend the Starlight Accolades - I did leave an hour earlier, got the 123 error, so I loaded one of the base game sim households, then reloaded my sim at their lot. It showed them as away at PBP Studio but it loaded, no error and hopefully my sim wins! Thank you! And EA TEAM LISTEN UP. Please get this workaround front and center while you fix the bugs."

Hi everyone

I've been doing some testing and it seems there's at least two different issues.

1. Your Sims get stuck travelling to lots that have events going on (Brichester, Thrift Lot, Del Sol Valley lots, possible others). mrrpdsp mod should solve this issue.

2. You get an error taking a Sim on a date/time jump issue: LittleMsSams mod should cover this one,

The first one also has workarounds posted throughout this thread but I believe it just will come back since the events seem to get stuck on the lots. I would not go to any lots that have events going on until EA fixes this.

I don't want to go into more details here as my post is going to get lost anyways but I do plan to make a blog post over the weekend to detail some of what I see in this thread.

@ejtb02 Do you get any lastExceptions when you get the error code ? Yours sounds different from what I've seen reported otherwise.

@AamayaMikasa Does it matter which location ? Is this a CaD (Lovestruck) or an old fashion date ? Do you also have any LastExceptions ?

@epdaly11 Did you get any LEs when it happened ?

Yes I did. So far its just been the one generic lot I built that Im having the issue with. Everywhere else I travel loads correctly.

Hi, I am getting the error message everytime I open any of my saves. This is just after I bought the Eco lifestyle and Uni pack, it seems to pop up when I try to travel to the campus for one of the uni, sometimes its okay but others it just won't let me go there at all. 

I have attached the picture of the error. 

I have repaired the game, repaired all the packs. Even repaired EA itself. 

I have removed my mods folder but the error is still coming up. 

I am at a loss now as I keep losing progress on my game and its enfuriating. 

Let me add, I created a new save and it was working for about 6 hours, then the error came up again. Everyone I have spoken too is saying its normally when a save is corrupt but I now have 2 saves where the error is coming up. How do I stop it corrupting if it is this?

Was the error fixed? I tried to take my sim on a get to know date and it failed. It said error and that I needed to relaunch the game. But when I did it didn't fix it and my sim was missing. I also play on ps4

It was the lounge in ciudad enamorada. I'm actually at work at the moment but I can send one when I get home. It was a get to know you date with someone from the dating app, cupids corner.

Number 2 is the one that affects the majority of folks.

I did not move any reports for restaurants over cause it's just too much to go through everything.

@crinrict yeah I got the code number one. It would take me back to the worlds screen and say error and that I needed to relaunch my game. My sim wasn't in the world though.

So far, it has only happened in Britechester when my Sim tried to go to the bar or any of the common rooms - dormitory and lecture halls work just fine. 

What worked for me was go to manage worlds, change a different world and a different household, save, go back to manage world, select Britechester and the Sim there. That would take me straight to where I wanted my Sim to be. She can travel to other worlds and other lots, though.

No mods or CC installed, so I'm guessing this wonderful bug is courtesy of the last update and/or Lovestruck pack.

@crinrict she wasn't in the world. She wasn't on her home lot. Or the lot she was going to. She wasn't in the world at all. I restarted my game and it claimed she was at the lounge where the date was but she wasn't. I couldn't find her. 

@crinrict  it just happened again with the lounge in San myunsho. Should I be sending you anything?

Every time I get an error 123 message I got a lot of notifications for the place I’m trying to go to. 

any time I try to go to a lounge and get the error code, I get a notification about a celebrity being there. 

Whenever I try to go to foxbury institute and get the code, I get an insane amount of notifications regarding their clubs 

@crinrict so I actually did have a screen shot of the error. And the only way I was able to get her back was to use an old save. 

@Davis5022omg I havent noticed this before but it's the same with my error. I thought it was just a coincidance but maybe not
