Re: [FIXED] [GRO] Child's appearance changes when tooth falls out

I'm having something similar. Doubt it needs its own thread so I'm putting it here. I originally had it on the teen thread but realized it's happening to them as children.

The appearance doesn't change entirely - it's like their faces get shrunk up. Luckily I have older saves that I can use to replace them with their proper faces but that's definitely not any sort of fix since it's really tedious to do.

I was actually flipping back and forth between these and I noticed it had changed her hair color too but her brother also has the shrunken face (nose smashed up like that, smaller head, smaller lips, higher cheekbones, etc) after he lost a tooth. I actually tested it to make sure - he got the moodlet so I checked him in CAS and all was fine then I had him pull the tooth and fill the gap (the other two I've seen this with didn't fill the gap) and then went back into CAS and his face with smooshed.

Here's two screenshots of the girl it's happening to. The first is how she used to look and the second is after losing a tooth. And since I saw it mentioned before, yes it was just one tooth. So far I haven't seen them lose multiple at the same time (fingers crossed that doesn't happen lol)

Having this issue too. I am familiar with how my child sims look as adults because I've aged them up using MCCC in CAS just to see, but now they look completely different as adults. Actually quite distressing because now they all have the same smushed-up-face look. Going to see if I can go back to an earlier save where the child sims hadn't had wobbly teeth yet to see if the issue persists.

  • @bazzaru If you can get back to before they lost their first tooth you'll be good. That iteration of the glitch as far as I've seen in my game (it's the one I'm experiencing) their face changes right after they lose a tooth and I believe it gets worse with subsequent teeth lost.
