The problem is a way deeper than broken synthax in tuning, the broadcaster is not triggering the responding object state, it just won't change. I've been trying to fix it for some months by 1) re-injecting the default states as custom - failed. 2) substituting object states with custom ones - failed 3) bypassing the test sets - partially succeded 4) substituting the broadcaster with custom one - failed.

@pessyl92Thank you, your mod makes my dancefloors usable again!

Active sims can be told to dance and autonomously started dancing on a dancefloor with this mod installed, yay!

NPCs still don't seem to dance autonomously but can be added to groups and then participate in a group dance if you choose that option on the dancefloor. Autonomously nobody but player sims dance at all even with this fix mod; they all stand in front of the DJ booth and do the "watch DJ" activity and the "listening to music" animation (feet tapping and head nodding etc), they don't dance. Which suggests that these are several different issues maybe?

Correction: after an hour of waiting for it (real time, not sim time) an NPC did start dancing, so they can dance, they just aren't very interested in doing it (which is weird at a nightclub venue, normally everything they do there is dance and order drinks lol).

@Speedy1236I tried compare files and i don't see any changes about autonomy.
I will download a new one dancefloor from event (yes, is mod for this) and I will check if they will dance autonomously on it.

So I didn't check out your mod because I make most of my own, but I went in and deleted that new "broken" bit of coding you pointed out and saved it and can confirm dance came back for the dance floor, both directed and autonomous. So good spotting.

I tested this too. It also no longer shows me the dance option. Neither in Windenburg nor my self created discotheque.

I play on the PS5.

pessyl92 Thank you very much for looking into this and making such a quick fix. Shame that modders have to do EA's job for them!

Since the update, there is no "Dance" option on the Get Together pack DJ booths either. 

@KampfmausxXIt's not the job of modders to fix the game. It shouldn't be marked as solution until EA fixed the bug.

How do I fix this dance floor issue when I have a PS5? I can't access the same page of code.

Issue* There's no option to dance when I click on the dance floor, no matter what club my sim is in.
