Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? back from CAAS my Sims age up (either through a dresser, mirror or favourites from the simology panel)
What happens when the bug occurs? my sims age up or gain more days lived
What do you expect to see? my sims to remain the same age!
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? no
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? after the latest patch (July 26th, 2022)

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? switch households, or move household 
What happens when the bug occurs? all sims in the household age up. 
What do you expect to see? no aging up
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? no

I can confirm I'm seeing this too.

What happens when the bug occurs? Your sims age after you leave CAS.
What do you expect to see? My sims to not age.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now, I removed them before the update
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? After the July 26 game update

Note I am playing on a long lifespan in a new save I started since the game update. I took screenshots of my sims' ages before I took them into CAS:

Playing on long 

I'm having the same problem as others, immediate aging up.  I play long lifespans.  I played rotational, and it killed the 2 elders in my lot at the same time, granted one of them was really due to be dead.  And when I went to the other family lot, it aged up an adult, 2 children 2 teens, and later, 2 teens to young adults.  I'm afraid of keep playing this game, considering the style I play.

My only expansion packs are Cats and Dogs and City Living.  I have Parenthood and Spa Day as game packs.

It seems like the long lifespan has issues right now. I use the long lifespan.

What do you expect to see? my game will resume as normal, with the sims ageing up in the correct amount of days, with outfits updated if I have changed them.

These are the images of every sim in my game ageing up at the time. The phone calls are about multiple sims in my game who were elders dying.

hopefully other ppl have this bug and its not just me! and if there is anyway to fix it lmk please and thanks. 

Is your lifespan on "Long"? If so, that's the bug. Even Champions and Hero's experience this bug too. 

Set the "Sim Lifespan" to Medium or Short. 

I have the same issue here. I loaded up my game to quickly give a family their shiny new body hair, pronouns etc. When I exited CAS both adults aged up to elders despite having several days to go (8 and 26 to be specific) and their dog died?! I quit to main menu without saving and reloaded the game. No one aged up this time, but both adults ages had changed, and they now have 28 and 46 days to go to elder respectively. So I quit without saving and now I'm going to hope for a fix before I get up in the morning!

This has happened to me (just made a post about it before seeing this one). It happened to my long lifespan save file.

It looks like there are more aging issues going on 

This thread is for aging up/days added when entering Live mode from anywhere else but build mode when you play on long.

We got a few other threads going currently. Please use these if those fit your issue better

• Playing on normal but issues live span of teens have changed to 21 days instead of 14 (not sure if this is intentional: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Life-span-duration-changed-for-teen-and-adult-sim/td-p/11668862/jump-to/first-unread-message .. there might be issues related to that though

There have also been a few user saying they have issue while aging is disabled.

You need to make sure that the greyed out options is set to normal and not long or the issue occurs anyways

If you have that and you still have issues, please create a new thread

Also when changing your setting, make sure to use the load button and change them from the map. The bug will occur as soon as you enter your household

I don't know at this point how NPCs are affected by this.

Just my personal little experience here:

My Lifespan is on ''Normal'', but i'm using a ''realistic'' aging using MCCC settings. My Sims usually become 319 days old.

I know that my 2 elderly (highly beloved ! Legends !) Sims each had about 20 and 21 days left. I always keep an eye on that, luckily.
But now they pass away the moment i start playing. 
Interesting: both did the ''Bodybuilder'' aspiration a long time ago.

I can ''cheat'' my way around it by setting the Elder Lifespan to 200 days or so. I can do that in the MCCC Settings file before starting up the game. It works. 
And pull the rug underneath from them after their promised 3 weeks.
I want my 2 legends to die respectfully, not because of a bug. Lolol I'm a good man.
 
My 2 Adult and 1 Teen Sims don't have their ages changed. They are unaffected. Their birthdays are still on the same day, soon.
