the latest patch, as of today, stated they fixed this issue yet it is still broken for me.. vanilla game. no mods.

Well, I had to go to cas via cheats mode and reset fat and muscle values to make sure that the game updates character textures for already existing characters.
But after that there were no more issues. I double checked it, they have min possible fat and max possible muscle tone.
Before the patch it was impossible to have min possible fat and max possible muscle tone yet look muscular outside of cas, but not anymore.
Yeap, I already did that. Your guy is not muscular in my game too.

Sad to hear it's not fixed but the check mark does not have anything to do with how fast something gets fixed. There's many issues that don't have one and yet they still aren't fixed.
You're reading too much into this. I'm not going to change how check marks are set. It's to increase visibility on workarounds.
I've adjusted the title.
The fix appears to be working and holding for my Sims. It took a couple of tries to get one Sim's correct muscle texture to persist - but I think they got it!
