If you're not adverse to Mods, though, simvasion's mod that re-enables it still works. 🙂
Hopefully they'll fix it officially, though.
This is occurring on the Xbox One version as well.
My Sims too can’t take maternity leave. She’s a doctor, he’s a tech guru. I have the Seasons, Get To Work and Parenthood.
Any expectations on when it might get fixed?

Are there any plans to fix this issue? I see it’s been going on since November and it’s now the end of March. None of my sims can take family leave either.
Hear hear, I bought the game in October and have never had the option. The time is getting a little ridiculous considering the amount of threads posted about this.
