It is disturbing to find that this issue is still not fixed. Poor James, in the video he even gives up trying to fix the lag and starts playing it with the problem happening. Lots of players in the comments talking about the lag, and what they're trying to do to fix it.

This is very bad. This problem should be addressed with top priority, so that it is completely eliminated. It interferes with all gameplay. There are times when I can't get the lag to stop no matter where I click.

This is all very frustrating.

    This is still happening. Another reason why the next-generation Sims game needs to be built in Unreal Engine 5 instead of its own engine.
