Re: [FIXED] [PC/MAC] Save Error 0 (Patch 1.86.166)

If this can be of any help, I think to me it happened the first time when going on a date in Ciudad Enamorada. My sim didn’t even receive the reward from the date but I figured that may be because she is currently living in the University Campus.

When are we going to see fixes or get updates on these game breaking bugs? This is getting beyond ridiculous. I mean not being able to save your game reliably is a pretty major bug. I’ve lost TWO saves since this update came and the subsequent patches came out. This bug and the one with the lots defaulting. Now Cupid corner sims have weird voices. My sims are also constantly dropping commands, which makes playing larger households damn near impossible. These bugs are sucking the life out of playing the game and I rarely turn it on anymore. I wish EA would fix it, it’s such an incredible insult to feel like we are being totally ignored for a product we all spent so much money on. 

I was playing in Ciudad Enamorada and had stories on. I went to disable the stories and moved my household to San Mayshuno. I am still getting the error ☹️ Although I didn`t exit the game. I will do this and see if it will make any change. So far the best option for me, without making tons of new saves is, to exit to manage worlds and save.

Well, I think I am done with The Sims 4 until a fix is available for this.  Last night my 4th save stopped saving.  So many hours of work and just beginning to develop the story lines and the ambiance of the save.

I have over 15,,000 hours logged on the Sims 4, and I've only ever had 1 save file.  I just can't start again because this seems to happen to me over and over again.  It's really a bummer because it's the only game I play, and I pretty much have been playing daily.

They are asking folks to send in their mod free save files so that they can investigate.  I haven't heard of any reason from EA as to what is causing this,. I tried to play mod free but it was gross, LOL.  I'm going to wait and hopefully am update will fix this.  I would love to hear updated status from EA.  I wonder if the save files peopkle have sent have given them anything to look into.  In the mean time, I'm cleaning my folders and trying to become proficient with RESHADE.  I never get the results shown on the screen shots.

This is getting beyond annoying. I just got this issue today, and it’s infuriating. Why is EA constantly releasing packs and you can’t even save the game. Like be for real and make it make sense.
