I was having this problem and was SO frustrated, but deleting and replacing the mailbox worked immediately!

Thank you for responding to this post. I followed the directions posted by you and I don't think I have the folder. Am I doing something wrong? I attached a picture. Hopefully I get a response back so I can continue getting the reaper's rewards. Thank you!

I did try deleting this file, and it didn't fix the issue. The mail people still stand waving at my mailbox for hours. So long, that 2 were there at once. Then once it finally was delivered, it just disappears with no reading animation, and the activity is not completed so I cannot progress.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number?  the latest update
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but  a few kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Completed all tasks but when I got to the first ingredient quest it broke, 
What happens when the bug occurs? I haven't received The Ambrosia Society's Newsletter to begin the quest. I also no longer receive the option to fast track receiving it in the mail. I checked all my sims' inventory, the family inventory and nothing . Tried every fix/restarting and repairing the game. It worked fine then just stopped working when I got to the first ingredient quest
What do you expect to see? The Ambrosia Society's Newsletter in the mailbox
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes?

Playing on Steam Deck, nearly all EP's. Not many SP or the other small packs.

I've read the Newsletter about a hundred times now, different sims, different ages. Different lots. Cannot move on with tasks.

IT FINALLY FUNCTIONED!!!!! The 1001th time reading and it FINALLY worked!!!!!!! I'm moving on!!!!!

I was having this issues for weeks, I ended up moving my Sims to another lot and it finally checked off my ambrosia news letter and haven’t had an issue with the reapers rewards since. 

Hi, I also have an issue with the Reaper's Rewards. The 2nd week has got stuck on the last task and it hasn't registered that the task is completed even though I've done all the actions needed to claim the last week 2 item. Now I can't move forward to start week 3's tasks. Plus, I claimed the week 2 book but I can't find it anywhere in the game and the Ambrosia newsletter has disappeared. 

Also, I don't have or use mods and I have the accountDataDB.package file.

This doesn't work ☹️ I hope they make the rewards from this event free afterward like they did with the previous one, because trying to get this quest to work is impossible

Your book is in Build/Buy mode. The ambrosia letter will come again and again til the task actually clears on your checklist

HI Thanks for letting me know about the book.

The tasks aren't showing up though and I don't have the expedite mail option. 

Do you know what else I can try? I've repaired the game twice and also tried other save files to see if I can get the tasks to reappear but they don't show up on any, unfortunately. ☹️
