The Sims TeamAre there any solutions yet on how to fix this problem? January 2023 and my game still not spawning any rocks anywhere.
This has just started happening in my game on Xbox Series S. It's worst in Granite Falls (where I've already reported the plants are also not functioning properly). I haven't seen many dig patches at all and the rocks only spawn if I leave the area and return. It's not quite so bad at the science lab where there are always groups of rocks together. My Sims are almost always collectors and it's been a struggle to complete the aspiration. Frogs are spawning where they should, snow globe cardboard boxes are too in most districts except for the Spice District, where they are rarely appearing at all. Rocks aren't as prolific in the jungle areas either.
April of 2023 and I'm also having the issue of logs, faucets, and dig spots not even showin up a first time. Which stinks because I wanted to work on the frog collection :/
@ghostliedruidDo you have Island Living? I got around the problem by catching frogs in the waterfall. Another option is to travel to Sylvan Glade and catch frogs in the pond.
It's not the same though.
I love collecting and it's only working half the time. The Science Lab wasn't spawning rocks, then it was just spawning a few. Sixam seems to be working now. There are either no rocks and just dirt patches or rocks and no dirt patches. It's a really inconsistent bug as it's different every time I visit somewhere.
I've filled my retail lots with collectables so that my Sims can still complete collections.
