When Sims attend a restaurant together they automatically become married. I have one case where Nancy Landgraab was married to both a not in world character and Geoffrey Landgraab and another with the ghost Bernard being married to another not in world ghost character.
Are you using mods in your game ? If so, please remove them

Yes! Same here, no mods whatsoever. It's really irritating.

I've had this happen to me in two games. In my latest Bjorn Bjernson was married to a male sim named Ricky. His family tree did not show him as married to Clara at all, although Clara's did. He also still had the option to divorce Clara. I fixed it by divorcing both, and then doing the cas.fulleditmode cheat to change Bjorn & Clara's relationship in cas from roommate to husband and wife. That seems to have worked, but this is very annoying. I hope they fix it soon...
