- crinrict5 years agoHero+@swithinboy59 I merged your post with the existing bug report.
This might also be playing into what you're describing: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/NEEDS-INPUT-Sims-don-t-autonomously-eat-left-overs/td-p/9725798
The issue that only one Sim can use the fridge isn't a bug. That's by design (there's a thread on that somewhere too)
Both of the bugs above or on EA's laundry list and should get fixed soon. - xochiquetzl_xkvn5 years agoSeasoned Ace
@swithinboy59 There's a trick to multiple fridges on lot.
If you just click get leftovers for two Sims on two different fridges, they pathing wave. Grr.
If you click Open and choose the exact leftover each Sim can get, two Sims can get leftovers from two fridges simutaneously if you specify different dishes. (Alexander, you get leftover eggs and toast in the kitchen. Claudia, you get leftover omelet in the basement. Etc.)
That said, I had to confiscate their other fridges because I'd click on the kitchen fridge and tell them to cook, and they'd walk downstairs to the basement fridge to get ingredients, walk back upstairs to chop... AAAAAAA! (At least it wasn't in the bathroom? ew!) Or in another house, walk up two flights of stairs to the nursery fridge, walk back down two flights of stairs to the kitchen....
- @xochiquetzl_xkvn So that's how multiple fridges work! Thank you, you learn something new every day. I doubt I'm going to try it again now though, it was too stressful trying to figure it out last time. I'll keep it in mind for the future though.
I can't wait for the bug(s)? surrounding cooking and getting left overs to get smoothed out, if they ever do.
