Hi, sorry to be bringing this old thread up but I'm having a similar issue. I hope this isn't a problem!
Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? I'm not sure how to check for that but I just updated the game today.
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get To Work and Dine Out
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy a sketchpad and finish a painting.
What happens when the bug occurs? After finishing a painting, it won't go into my Sim's inventory. I've also checked the storage in Buy Mode but they don't go there either. Also, I noticed that when you try to sell a sketch pad in the inventory, it sells for zero simoleons. I've tried buying a new sketchpad but the same thing happens.
What do you expect to see? The paintings should go to the inventory and the sketchpad should sell higher than zero simoleons.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? None.
