@crinrict  So anything within the last month doesn't work, but older saves do.

Not exactly thrilled with losing a month's worth of playing

@KAJ3D Do you have any LastException files in your documents folder ?

Best is to delete the ones you have, then trigger the error and check if new ones are created.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Uploading the file is meant for troubleshooting.

I am having this issue, unable to click on any sims and get the pie menu to appear. I am playing a household with 2 teen sims, they are not famous/are opted out of fame, both ancient spellcasters at virtuoso level. It is also not a holiday in my game. Just wanted to add a comment since there is no fame or holiday applicable in my case.

Edit: I tried turning off mods - same issue. I tried deleting cache files and repairing game - same issue. 

I tried using a file from two years ago and it wouldn’t work. Literally none of my files would work

Okay, I tried this with another household that I have not played with in a while.

When I arrived at this household, the glitch wasn't happening at all.

I tried a couple of interactions and then one of the couples in the household did autonomous woohoo. 

After that, the glitch occurred on one of them. 

So, I did woohoo on an elder couple, and the glitch happened to the male Sim after the woohoo. 

I had aging off, when I turned aging back on the male elder sim died right then and there. 

You could interact with his urn.

When I brought him back, you could interact with his ghost and bring him back to life - then the glitch was gone.

This is definitely a strange one. 

Quick question, do you guys have the new shopping cart button? They posted on X that this was a test, so not everyone got this. Maybe those who don’t have the shopping cart button are having the bug with the interaction. Because in my case, I don’t have the shopping cart button, but the bug with the interaction.

I have the button and it is broken! I don't think it has to do with that (but I'd love if they removed it)

Here's what I know:  3 Sims in my household are affected.  One is a Sim I've been playing in multiple saves since 2019.  If I have him selected, I cannot interact with other human Sims.  However, he can interact with his horse and other objects (I can get him to "go here", take showers, cook meals, etc).  But no menu pops up when I click on him or another Sim while he's selected.  If I select a Sim that's not affected by this bug, they can interact with him.

I tried this without mods, same problem.  Tried repairing the game, deleting localthumbcache and other files that regenerate upon startup to no avail.

I'm having the same issue. Three in my household are affected...all adults, children are not.  They are not famous, not occult. One was at work in detective career when it started. I've repaired, deleted local thumb cache, mods, and crash files and nothing is working. So frustrating. I've been playing this family for three years.

I have the same problem, but just for one Sim. The Sim I play most with. All the other Sims in her household are fine.
