Is anyone else having this issue?
I loaded my game and can NOT interact with certain objects and the NPCs.
I try to click and no interactions pops up. I can debug and do certain things but its limited.
Yep. Started happening tonight after Origin auto-installed an update. I have maybe 1/3 to half of the expansion packs and don't have any mods or fancy stuff. But my Sims can't interact with other Sims (I tried switching locations, Sims, etc.). My poor college student is going to starve to death because he can't order any food. 😂

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into any household, select any Sim (part of the household or outside of the household), and try to interact.
What happens when the bug occurs? When you try to click on another Sim, there's no interaction menu.
What do you expect to see? An interaction menu for Sims to talk to or otherwise interact with NPCs.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

Yes, I just updated my game today. One of my Sims was able to interact with other Sims for about 5 mins and now can no longer interact with any other Sim and I cannot click on him either.
I have tried moving my entire mods folder to desktop, deleting localthumbcache, moving my Sim to another house, resetting Sim. All do not work. I also tried going to a previous save from 1 year ago and same result with the same Sim.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Select a sim in your household and try to left click on that Sim or any other Sim, no options come up, no pie menu.
What happens when the bug occurs? There is no pie menu when you click on any other Sim or your own Sim.
What do you expect to see? A pie menu appear when I click on another Sim or my own Sim.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? I did when the bug appeared. Have since removed all cc/mods and bug still remains.

I’m having the same issue. This morning I was playing and everything was fine. Just now, I updated my game in the pc and now no interactions menu shows for neither of my sims. Not even self interactions work. Even without mods. Anyone figure out how to fix it?
I tried two games one new game had the issue and the other did not. The new game performed as expected but all of the other saves that I have are experiencing the issue.
Also, it seems to be happening to some teens and not others. Most teens I have were able to perform interactions without a problem but any Sim who is a young adult, adult or elder had the issue.
New games seem to be a hit or a miss. I started a new game that seemed to have the issue then the Welcome Wagon arrived and everything was fine after that.
I went back in a few times to test it and it seems to be okay.
For the saves with the issue, I keep getting an exception file. I'll share if you need any data from it.
