So, I still can't transfer a sim to an empty household? Are you serious? This is ridiculous! Do you people know what you're doing?

Of course mods are all screwed again.. Thanks a whole bunch.

@MickCasanova Today's mini-patch is not known to have affected any mods so far.

Having the same issue.
I removed all mods to check if it was a mod issue but nope still cant transfer to an empty household.
Will give your work around a try. fingers crossed they fix it soon

There is a patch today, so maybe, but doubtful it will be fixed with this one. Hoping this isn't one of those bugs that says [OPEN] on Answers HQ but never actually gets addressed. If I had a wish, I wish EA had someone to look at these reports and actually say "we are aware of this and it is being worked on". 

It was an old LMS mod I somehow missed updating.. That I fixed.

@luthienrising  @d8b252179831d57b  @jennicapayce   fyi:  Yesterdays update was a surprise to me too. However, the update was purely to load the new expansion pack in your game, the Life and Death one.  It also loaded a screen to allow you to purchase the Life and Death expansion.  It literally takes up the entire screen so you cannot miss it!   It was not an actually update that corrects problems.  You must purchase to be able to play it. 

@rujuta4me The updated yesterday was for a couple of Reaper Reward fixes related to mail delivery. This info was posted by SimsDirect, a Maxis account. The TDESC and XML file changes for the patch last week showed that it was the patch that prepared for the new pack. (I use the XML files in my modding.)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All packs except i dont have: Horse Ranch, lovestruck, life & death. Luxury party, cool kitchen, kids room, bowling night and toddler stuff pack. Only kits I have are bust the dust, blooming rooms, carnival streetcar and desert luxe.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to manage worlds and try to move one sim out of a household into a new household.
What happens when the bug occurs? It just says it can't transfer the sims. Arrow is grayed out, won't let me move the sim out to a not in world household.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to move 1 or more sims out into a new household.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The latest patch for life & death expansion pack, the update that improved occult types in Cas.

If it is true that the update was to fix the reaper event, it didn't fix mine!   Still can't play the reaper event!!  Since the loading of the Life and Death expansion, I have a whole new set of problems and I did not buy the Life and Death pack!  I have absolutely no MOD's or CC, never have, never will!  I grew sick of the issues always being CC or Mod's - thus my fault!  I know this is not my doing - not at all.
