anyone have this issue? I turn off wants and fears and played for a while, save log out came back later only to find its showing again. I have to re-click the want and fear button only to show back up again after save and logged out then reload game
Is it showing under the simology panel? I'm finding that, even if resolved, sometimes it is still on there.
@LadyDarkSorrow this is my issue too. It's always turned back on when I start the game.
Edit: I also just realized it turns back on when I leave CAS. It's not ticked but still Wants and Fears are shown and happening. So basically I have to tick them on, then tick them off and then they are gone.
Edit 2: also when I go to manage worlds and back into my household.
I thought I was going crazy. I'm having the same issue too. It's obnoxious at this point.
I don't want the “wants and fears” feature. I have toggled them off in game options. Nevertheless every time I switch to a different Sim family the wants and fears bubbles reappear. When I go to game options they are still appearing to be toggled off. Nevertheless there they are on the screen for every Sim. If I go back into the game options and re-toggle and un-toggle the wants/fears button they will then disappear. But this is an annoying process to have to repeat every time I switch to a different family every time I log on to play. Is this a problem or will it always be this way? Why isn't untoggling them in game options a universal thing?
@nickinbigd I totally agree with you , having exactly the same problems and it interferes with my game totally.

I have this issue. I'm on PS5. And it doesn't have to be traveling or restarting for it to come back. It will just keep coming back. There doesn't seem to be anything to trigger it to happen. They'll be gone and then they just reappear when they want. lol
After the new Sims 4 update, there is a bug where wants and fears do not properly shut off. Every time I exit the lot, go into CAS, or save, wants and fears will turn on despite being off in the menu. Can you please fix this?

I am having the same issues too. No matter what I do they return. I'm glad to see I am not alone and hope this gets resolved very soon. Not fun playing the games we want to play with this type of interference.
I submitted my problems of this to EA. I hope this will help in some fashion to get a resolve.
