I did have the “loading in progress/cannot save” issue.
It seemed to originate with a Mod in my case, MCCC (MC Command Center) and was fixed, in my game anyway, by downloading a hotfix, they provided.
Some UI Mods can cause problems too.
It’s a good idea to look/wait for updates for Your Mods, or if they’re cleared before using them ingame, if not removing them like You did here.
- Remember always to remove the “localthumbcache.package”, if You choose to remove any Mods. If You leave that file behind after removing any Mods, problems caused by the those can still occur in Your Game.
