I both have a working mailbox on my homelot at 23 Eucalyptus Lane, and a working/visible mailbox on the lot from SylvanSimmer's pictures. One of my sims had to send som knitting to charity and ran to the far away one, instead of that one on the homelot.
** I bought the mailbox on my homelot in buy/build, because I noticed the lot didn't have any (A lot from the Gallery, i've changed to fit my Sims family). Just realised today, the original mailbox probably was on the other lot all the while. Have deleted the far away one just now, and will see if anything happens.
