Yes, I did test with out mods. I only use MCCC, but it still happened.

@xIceRose To be sure, you also removed MCCC ? Vanilla means, nothing in your mods folder.
Also be aware that clothing might not match depending where you are. The clues always refer everyday clothing so ask them to change into that.

Yeah no mods were active. This was a completely different sim. I posted a picture of the clues and than the sim that was guilty it was no where close to the actual clues except the trait. I deleted all previous evidence as well.
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@xIceRose If you start a new save for testing purposes, can you duplicate the issue ?
Just to find out if it's save game or even Sim specific or a general issue. - CGrant562 years agoHero+
Since you have all packs, that means you have Seasons which gave us hot and cold weather clothing categories. Sims arriving on a lot usually are dressed in the appropriate clothing for the weather. I have found playing the detective career, that the clothes won't match the clues if the weather is hot or cold out. From what you described; I think this is what might be happening to you. So, it pretty much comes down to using just the age, gender and hair color to find the right suspect a lot of the time.
Hope this helps.
- xIceRose2 years agoNew Traveler@crinrict I will see if I can duplicate it in a different save
- xIceRose2 years agoNew Traveler@CGrant56 Yes I usually looked at their everyday outfit, I had my sim ask them change outfits. So that isn't an issue. The issue is that my clue stated it was a young or Teen female but the suspect that was guilty was a adult male. And the hair color didn't match either.
