Re: [GTW] Retail Items Do Not Restock

@MzMelonzTwo questions:
- Have the items been restocked when you leave the lot and come back (that's how it always worked in my game)?
- Have you tried to briefly play the owner houshold and give the employees the task to restock the items?

EDIT: I tested this with a vanilla PC game and indeed employees won't restock anything while your Sims is on the lot, but everything is restocked when you leave and return to the lot. I believe NPC shops have always worked this way, but I'm not sure.

    No, the items never restock. I could play any other household, leave, return, etc. It will remain as is until I am actively managing the retail location to have the store manually restock. When I first purchased the pack for this, it wasn't like that. This is a more recent occurrence. For instance, the toy store that comes with the pack Paddywack's Emporium, let's say The Adam's Family owns this retail lot. After a shift of actively working, most of the items sell out. If I switch households, to the Patridge Family and visit with their kids, all of the items are still mostly sold out. I could visit again with the Brady Bunch and the same items will still be sold out. The only time this changes is when I am back to playing The Adam's Family and I have my store employee or myself restock the store. If I can recall correctly, in the past, the stores would automatically restock when playing any other family.

    That's the only way I am able to restock items now. is to play the managing household (The Adam's Family) to restock. This action means that before I stop playing a household who manages a retail store, I have to make sure everything is restocked before playing a different household, every time. I just do not recall it being this way prior to the last two to three months. I have had this game for a while now.

    Indeed. Nothing restocks for me unless I manually restock them prior to wanting to play a different household.

    I hope this makes sense.

    @MzMelonz Ok the difference between your and my game is that my NPC shop has no owner at all - I made it functional with an owner houshold when I built it, then uploaded it to the gallery and downloaded it into different savegames. It works fully autonomously. Your description sounds as if the game does no autonomous micromanagement when there is still a living owner in the savegame. To me this makes some sense because in your case the shop still has a budget that could be ruined by automatic transactions like restocking. I will do some further testing ...

    @crinrict Are you able to close this!? I realize since someone newly commented that this is not an issue.
