Have you been able to try with no mods or CC on a clean save?

When posting the original report I have tried on different, new saves, without and with mods. In both cases it wasn't working properly.
I tried again today and this time it seems to be working fine. I don't know if that was just a random one off issue, but so far it seems to be alright on a new save. It's just the one I am playing the most that has the most bugs. I guess it may be because I'm on my 12th generation and the save is just dying out.

- @Looriinee For the save that's still not working, was the baby born after the patch or just grew up after the patch ?
So the patch from 18/04/2023 is the one that fixed it.
My sim was then pregnant with the first baby, so she gave birth shortly after I updated with the patch.
The baby was born and grew up with the patch installed in my game.
The second baby was actually after the patch from 26/04/2023, it was born and grew up with both recent patches live in the game.
They both had the same mother (5 star celeb, beloved trait), and she was the one performing the "age up" with both babies.
- @Looriinee Thanks for the details. I would say babies born after the patch def shouldn't be affected anymore.
Did you remove your mods, then age them up/have them born or remove the mods after you aged them up/born ? @crinrict At first I just thought it was a one-off situation, didn't pay it much attention as thankfully there was always another sim in the household able to introduce the mother. But when it happened the second time I was like.. hold on just a moment.
Then I read around and figured it was a common bug that was supposed to be fixed with the patch.
This is when I created a new save, creates a couple, made the female be a 5 star celeb with the beloved trait. Then removed all the mods and everything, tried again with the baby. This time it worked fine.
I didn't remove the mods to try on my current save as I rely a lot on them during the gameplay and I'm always worried it's gonna mees up the game if I launch it without them, plus as I said, I realized It was a common problem after she already had the second baby. I am not planning on her having another one, otherwise I would try again to see what happens.
- @Looriinee The problem with it being a common issue is that it was fixed but there could still be instances around so it's very important to test without mods.
You can test on a backup of your save so it doesn't mess up the original.
Are you planning on having another baby with that family ?
