Re: [LD] Kai Aether doesn't have sleepwear/CAS item removed pop-up
I only get the message once, after that it doesn't pop up again, (Unless I don't save and then open it again for the first time) but the man doesn't wear anything but the default underwear in his sleep wear... which seems odd since i can't remember any other townie having just no cas items equipped for an outfit...
Also if i make a new save and try it there the pop up doesn't happen! it has to have been an old save i can thusly open without needing to enter live mode even once... Cause as soon as live mode is opened in any shape way or form regardless of if Kai was on screen, the pop up doesn't happen. Even when then adding him to the family, or editing him in cas after... it might correct itself silently, removing the outfit, because you're not playing the family, and can't display something you ''don't own''... the odd thing being that i own everything he could be wearing...
I double checked it happens in all my saves so long as they haven't been played since the update...
Also, all other townies from this pack and any other, work like normal and don't give the pop up, it's ONLY Kai...
I don't know what you did to test, but try it with an old save file that hasn't been loaded up in live mode yet, since the pack was released/the game was updated and presumably you'd get the pop up too...?
(If you don't have a save like that i could provide you with mine, since i keep not saving when i exit so i can test around with how and why i get the pop-up)
My theory is that there's some clothing item he was wearing, that was supposed to come with the pack, but didn't for some reason, and now when it's loaded up on Kai, the game instantly removes it cause ''you don't own this item'' and folks aren't going to know this or notice, cause who other then my insane self loads up an already existing save file to as very first thing, mark all the new families as played sims and just so happens to start with the Aethers... (I keep them organized that way to avoid culling and use neighborhood stories for only randomly generated sims)
(I also attached a picture of what he's wearing in his sleep clothes, which as specified, is the default clothing for male frame sims if all clothing were removed via the little X button, or what you would see if a sim from the gallery was wearing clothing you don't own, since both his top and bottom are not there it suggests he was originally wearing either only pants/only a shirt OR a full body outfit, which was for some reason removed... OR he really is just supposed to wear nothing but default underwear and his rings, in which case i have no idea what the pop up is referring to...)
