Re: Multiple clone sims from the gallery always get $20000 in funds

Only with sims from my library.

To be precise, I created an 8-sim household for the game by creating one sim, and then copying them over 7 times for a total of 8 by saving such a sim to the library and then using the library to select the saved sim and then merging the sim together with the exact identical sim from the library, creating a set of 8 identical octuplets. With the 8th set, however, I changed the sim to some extent by changing the gender and some facial features to reflect this.

Note that I have just tried a Repair of the game and I will see how this goes, I'll let you know if I have fixed the problems.

@crinrict I have just repaired the game and it still shows as $20000 in funds, based on what I have done in my Method 1 and in my reply as seen.

I have tested this for 2 sims, and I get the expected $22000.

I still need to test this for 3 to 7 sims.

For some reason, a 4 sim household is also broken when created in such a fashion where I saved a sim to the library and then used the library to make copies of the sim as "super identical twins" by merging the saved and identical sim from the gallery into the sims that exist in CAS (that are the exact same sim that has been saved to and then loaded from the gallery). Perhaps this is the cause of such a money bug?

@humbelha137 Does it work if you don't 'clone' the same Sim several times ? Like if you have 8 completely different Sims, does it happen too ?

@crinrict Yes, creating another sim from scratch through CAS works perfectly. The issue only seems to appear when I clone sims from the gallery.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? From the main menu, start a brand-new game. In CAS, do not create a story for the sim by clicking on "No thanks" when prompted for a story. Then, once you have the sim appear in front (make sure that the sim is a young adult), give the sim their traits, aspiration and name and then save that sim immediately to the gallery by going to the top right and clicking save to my library - do not play the sim yet by clicking on the confirm icon on the bottom right. Once the sim has been saved in the gallery (and you are still in CAS), grab the exact sim that you saved in the gallery and then merge the sim with your current sim in the household. Then click the confirm button and play the game. Choose any season if you have seasons installed.
What happens when the bug occurs? Starting funds are $20000, despite 2 sims in the household. Lots that are greater than $20000 in Simoleons cannot be normally purchased.
What do you expect to see? Starting funds are higher for 2 or more sims in the game.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
