Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.64.84.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get Famous, Get to Work, University, City Living, Cats and Dogs, Parenthood, and Dine out
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Get famous was working fine but as my sim was headed to an audition the game glitched and the sim never went. The notice came that the audition was failed but the audition and its schedule time remains in the work tab
What happens when the bug occurs? Can't cancel the audition or find a new gig. I have tried: cancelling through both work tab and phone. Sim will call but the audition never gets cancelled. Tried changing agencies but this does not impact the audition. Went to a celebrity cleanse to re-choose my fame perks and chose career hopper. When i left the career the audition disappears but comes back as soon as i enter the actress career again and i still can't cancel. I have disabled mods but this had no impact on the issue
What do you expect to see? The audition removed so i can continue the actress career
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    @jamiivuong I haven't found a way to get rid of it unfortunately but I forwarded your save to EA.

    You have three option on how to deal with this:

    1. Quit the career and have the Sim do something else
    2. Save the Sim to the gallery and place a fresh copy in your save. This hopefully works but you'll loose all inventory items and all relationships (I haven't tested)
    3. You can cheat a new gig with testingcheats on - shift click on the Sim. I haven't tested if they go to that though. It's layering on top of the other and you can cancel that one so maybe they go to the gig too. You would need to do it each time you want a gig though as the other way to get one is broken.

    @crinrict Could you tell me a little more about how to do option 2? Do I just save the household to gallery, evict them from their current lot and then move them in again? I'm not too concerned about anything in inventory or any of the relationships

    @jamiivuong Yes, basically you delete go to CAS with your Sim and save the entire household to your library.

    Then you delete the household (not just evict but actually delete) from the game and place a new copy form the library

    @crinrict This worked! Maintained the same level in the actress career but the audition is gone and i can get new gigs again. Thanks heaps!

    This happened to me too! To fix it I used the testingcheats option aka number 3 and then was able to get the established name perk which got rid of the problem completely!
