@facsimiles Did you test this with all mods/cc removed ?

    I have this same issue. Removed mods and scripts, turned off MOO, bought a PC with a webcam, tried with a laptop, tried sitting at the desk, no matter what they won't do the review and I don't get the USB thing in her inventory. It just keeps canceling the action.

    I don't know if this is the same issue. My teen sim can make reviews at his home lot using the cheapest base game pc, but not on any other lot. This is a Library lot with multiple computers available, yet even if my Sim sits down in front on one it says: You need a computer for this. 

    Playing with a copy of my regular game with no mods.
