I’ve found sims keep having in appropriate relationships/ flirting with family members.
no mods or cc.
sim mother now has a flirty relationship with adult daughter in household.
also Father in law keeps flirting with daughter in law, and similar
My sims are often flirty with the children as well. The relationship never develops, but the behaviors are still inappropriate. Quite frankly, all parents show an unhealthy attachment to child sims. Following them to the bathroom, having romantic interactions in the child's bedroom...I know it's a game and a glitch, but it's quite frankly, creepy.
I have suddenly noticed this too, while I do use MCCC and can therefore force the "Just Be Friends" on them, its' still super creepy when I do NOT have that option enabled in MCCC, and as others have said, it even does this for players who DO NOT have mods. Like, I would remove my mods and do a test, but.... at this point, what's the point?
Also, something I can note, this MIGHT BE AN ISSUE WITH GROWING TOGETHER for those looking into it, as that's an expansion that I got recently, and then that's when this issue started happening.

No, this hasn’t been fixed. I find this extremely gross and creepy. My Sims mother developed a flirty trait with her when she was born and now that she’s an adult she still flirts with her daughter. It’s gross and my Sim was very uncomfortable. “Uncomfortable from awkward conversation.” And you could clearly see in the image of the friendship bar that’s up above head that it was flirty.
Another thing is, I know for a fact, I set to her mother, to only like men. And I also set my sim to only like men. So why is she flirting with her female daughter?

This breaks my heart. I gave up playing due to this issue a few years ago and really want to play but I refuse to spend any time or money on a game that won’t fix this issue. Absolutely disgusting.
At least 5 years and this still exists?? I was playing with my 10 year old when this happened, she laughed it off at first but then was bent on fixing it because it really bothered her, rightfully so.
After a party, a male teen and a female adult (not related) showed romantic relationships with a female child from a different household. There were also other random relationships for the teen and adult. The party did require flirtation.
I was able to reverse the adult's relationship with the child, I had another Sim invite the child over, then confronted the child Sim with the affected adult. There were introductory choices, we picked funny, and the second bar went away and a normal looking green bar was restored.
I only have the pets pack, everything else is vanilla.
