Re: [NEEDS SAVES] [PS/XB] Unable to Clear Message Box if you Pick an object up

@SimGuruNick I just tried to replicate it by holding random objects while a rocket mission was going but I was able to clear the message boxes. So, no I do not seem to be having this issue with patch 1.15. I have never purposely tried to create the problem issue before either. It always happened just as I picked up an object and a box appeared almost simultaneously. If it occurs randomly again I will post.

This is still happening  in May 2021 in the same scenario as the original poster. It’s always been the case since the console release.

I just encountered this issue today and came here in hopes of finding a solution before exiting and losing all progress. I was placing orchids to plant in my garden when a career situation for another character appeared. I have two choices but cannot select either because the cursor is still “holding” an orchid. 

@SimGuruNickI am having this issue a lot recently. Having three teens in school, there’s non stop pop ups from the same ole scenarios every day! Can’t do anything without the distractions and then totally unable to click out of or drop what I’m grabbing at that moment nor able to save so I don’t lose what all had been done since the last save.

It is especially ridiculous since it highlights the choice, shows the arrow but just will not click or open the options to save!

I had this happen today. My current version is 1.61. I took a screenshot, but I don’t have social media so I posted to my activity. I am on the PS4 and the only add on I have is parenthood. No mods. What happened- I picked up a book and at the same time or a second later a child request popped up. I was unable to place the book or choose an option on the request. I could move the arrow around, but nothing else. The start button did not work either. 

I had this issue today with a painting and a pop up!
