Re: [ARCHIVED] Can't play chess with active Time Limited Events

So, my sim is able to use a chess table as long as it's not a lot that I have placed down from the gallery. However, if I do place down a lot from the gallery, my sim is NOT able to use the chess table because they, "do not have permission to use this object". I have tried troubleshooting and nothing seems to be working. I don't have mods or cc installed. Also, when I try to replace said object in build mode, it will not let me remove the chess table nor can I place down a new one. Please help, I am going crazy. 

To add: Once I place down that lot and leave after trying to use the chess table; I'm not able to use a chess table on my sim's home lot.

    @qtmoosie Interesting observation.

    Do you still have the reaper/discovery tasks as that was one suspicion for this issue.

    I've merged your post with the main thread.

    @crinrict Yes, I still have those tasks. I have not been participating in the event and I do not plan to. I just want my sim be able to use a chess table.
