Re: [OPEN] [DO] Inappropriate behavior in Sim's restaurant

So I made a restaurant with an upstairs for my sims to sleep and basically live in because I wanted to make it like Bobs Burgers. Well every time they cook or sleep, even though they are family, the daughter will berate the other family members. Now she kicked her family, including herself, out. I can't leave the lot and go home and I can't go into the restaurant. I'm basically stuck looking into my restaurant and hoping my staff is competent enough and that my sims won't die while being forced to live at the park at the moment

    Same thing happens for me, but only with cooking their own food. No mods / CC. Reloading and traveling doesn't change anything.

    It's also happening to me as well! And too many deaths at my restaurant too-annoying!

    I've been playing Dine Out for 2 days now. The restaurant I'm playing with is next door to my sims official household.
    Last night, Sim1 kicked Sim2 out of the restaurant as she was being loud while he was trying to sleep (in the restaurant). I saved and came off the game.
    This morning, I went on the sims and both sim1 and sim2 are outside and neither can get back in the restaurant, or their home. When I try to click on either property or use the travel via mobile phone it says 'sim1 can't travel because there is a social event going on' but there isn't! I've tried opening the restaurant but still can't enter the building. I have no idea what to do, both sims have no access to toilets, showers and are sleeping on park benches and eating from bbqs at the park.
    I have restarted the game several times, reloaded from a save that was about 3 mins earlier than the auto save, and tried resuming play from both their home and the restaurant and still nothing.

    usually you can just go to the map but and travel to another lot and that would solve it but since you can't do that because of the phantom social event, hm.

    Can you go to the household manager and kick the family out of their home and then add back ?

    Hi! I was having the same problem. I removed all "household" items from my basement room....shower, beds....and now I have no longer had the problem. I guess we can not live in your restaurants.

    I'm having an issue when more than one household members are at the restaurant. If one of them needs sleeping, the other will keep waking him up. Like if he was a guest doing something wrong.

    What exactly happens ? Do they go over to wake them ? What kind of message are you getting on that ?

    Yes! They wake up the other sim and I get a message that he was doing something wrong. Once, after waking her daughter up 3 times, she sent her home. She literally expelled the other from the restaurant. I filmed it! It starts at 8:28 in this video: https://youtu.be/IAwqO_6WJzQ?t=8m28s

    It is in Portuguese, but you can see her waking the children up many times, until she sends her home. I canceled the "go to home" action and put them both to sleep.  Only then it worked...

    Every time my sim goes to her restaurant, after a couple hours everything inside the restaurant disappears and she walks out. I try to send her home and it says that she is in a social event. However, you can't get out of the social event and I don't understand why it kicks me out of my restaurant when I didn't say I wanted to join the social event. It is a bug because there is no way to click out of the social event. Can you please fix this problem as soon as possible. Thanks.

    If you add your restraunt to your library and then bulldoze the lote and then place the lot back down you should be able to enter again it worked for me

    One of my Sims is starting to do this. Like the original poster, I made the Belcher family and have them stay above the restaurant. But every time Tina goes to sleep or Linda cooks, Bob yells at them for being inappropriate. I tried restarting the game and it's still doing it.

    Has this ever been resolved? Does anyone know? This is still continuing to happen and this is really the only thread I have found about the issue. I wonder if Mods have been implemented? I cannot find any. Thanks 🙂

    I think it's still open. Would be good if you could make a new thread though as this doesn't use the bug template. I will then merge the threads.
