@maeve3107 this can be used for anyone with this glitch actively happening in your game.

you need to save and exit to stop the glitch though you may lose data. you will need a second household to fix this. put your sim in the other sim household and use your phone to drop out of university. and now you have escaped without your sim being stuck in a dorm for all of eternity.
