Is this issue still being investigated?
SOLUTION: for those like me - I was unable to use the dx11 workaround. I continued to receive an error with a message that says "The requested operation requires elevation"... I tried running the EA app and Sims4 app as an administrator and still.... NOTHING. I came across this blog on Reddit and it was the only thing that has let me move cabinets without the crash!!!!! I pray it's a permanent fix, but hopefully it will help someone struggling like I was.
"Find where Sims 4 is installed first. The default path nowadays is: Program Files (x86)\EA Games\The Sims 4 but it actually used to be: Program Files (x86)\Origin\The Sims 4. It could be in either one, depending on when you first got the game. Once you find The Sims 4 folder, go into "Game" then "Bin". If you have a desktop shortcut, you can simply right-click it and select "Open file location". This will take you directly the "Bin" folder. You should see in there several files including: "TS4_DX9_x64", "TS4_Launcher_x64" and "TS4_x64".
Right-click the one that says "TS4_Launcher_x64" and select "Properties". Click on the "Compatibility" tab and check "Run this program as an administrator". Then click "Apply" and "Ok"."
Hope this helps!

Hello.
For anyone experiencing this issue, can you install the latest Intel driver and see if the issue still occurs?https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html
