I have unlocked achievements during some time and I still have trouble unlocking others.

What achievements unlocked :
BEFORE GLITCH
Bow-Dacious (lvl 10 violin)
AFTER GLITCH
Refined Palette (lvl 10 painter)
Mael-strum(lvl 10 guitar)
Connoisseurus Rex (lvl 10 gourmet cook)
Are You Entertained? (Max entertainment career)
Tungsten Chef (lvl 10 cook)
Most Interesting Sim (12 traits)
My, You've Changed (fat, thin)
Smooth Talker (lvl 10 charisma)
Games Within Games (lvl 10 gaming)

After this, I tried my piano save again, nothing. I also don't have my 24 hour no social or 24 hour no sleep either. My Sims are vampires, they went days without either.

I also never got my channel surfer..

I also continued to play on my save that cheated me from those achievements. The achievements above did unlock in that save, then I ran into another one that didn't unlock. Lvl 10 Comedy.

What still won't / DIDN'T UNLOCK

All Nighter (24hr no sleep)
Channel Surfer ( watch/listen to all channels/stations)
Introvert (24hr no social )
Ivory Tower (lvl 10 piano)
Straight for the Jocular (lvl 10 comedy)


What is weird is that I have unlocked some that others haven't and vice versa from what I've read. EA, please get on this really weird glitch. I love the Sims, but I don't love grinding for skills that I went out of the way for to receive no reward, or trying to figure out what's wrong. I feel like I've tried all I can think of.

Update:
I noticed when the Comedy achievement didn't pop (which happened minutes before this post) there was an event happening during my skill leveling. So I wondered if that could have been the issue.

I went to my piano save (the one where my sim is about to hit lvl 10) and also noticed an event happening on the top left. I canceled the event and had my sim continue to work toward level 10.

This did nothing. No achievements unlocked. It might be coincidence.

This seemed to actually work. The full house triggered some, not all of my missing achievements. I'm actually really surprised.

I will attempt this again to see if this triggers my remaining achievements.

Starting a new family AND PLAYING THEM helped me too in giving me the random missed achievements

Did this, created a new 8 Sims household and it unlocked 5 achievements. There is still some missing. I

Not 5 but 12 achievements pops up. I think it unlocked all the ones missing.

Yea when i already did it and my achievements since are still not unlocking right. Some do and some dont

I’m about to try this to receiver some Maxed Skill achievements that didn’t unlock. Do you know I this has to be done on the same save that the achievements should have been unlocked on? Or can it be done using a new save?

So this did seem to work. I made a new eight sim family on the existing save where the achievements SHOULD have popped originally and moved them in to an empty lot. As soon as the lot loaded all of my missing achievements unlocked HOWEVER not all of them received the ‘Achievement Unlocked’ animation.

According to my Xbox only two unlocked, one for playing an eight sim family and the other for maxing the programming skill. According to the Xbox App on my phone three achievements unlocked, the previous two and another for maxing the charisma skill. I think this was all I was waiting for.

Now I just need to try unlocking another to see if this has fully rectified the issue.

With me personally, it unlocked current achievements but then im still having the issue. My xbox keeps saying my closest achievement is the tungsten kitchen. Im like well yea because my cooking level is at 10...im currently stacking achievements then ill try to make another 8 household, but umm worried cuz some say that it didn't work once they unlocked the achievement

I also tried not speeding through one of my skills to 10 achievement, as I read somewhere else, and it did not help.
