@Citysim9997 Probably a typo. I'd rather believe an official site then a fan site.

@harasnicole That might be where the problem lies. I have a file in there called retail.pc.contentmanifest.

I'd say lets wait till the the drop of the first SDX and go from there.

    @crinrict Yeah, I don't think that's it. That folder has never had a file in it in all the years I've been playing The Sims 4, and I haven't had any issues until this most recent patch, when the SDX was added in.

    @crinrict I've always had a content folder in my documents folder, though. It's never had anything in it, but it's always been there.

    That is strange. Can you delete the folder then and see what happens

    I work with multiple Sims folders. This is one that I haven't started since the patch

    There's no content folder.

    I deleted the folder and the  game just created a new one, like it does if you take out any other folder (saves, screenshots, mods).

    Again, it's always just been there, but it doesn't do anything, doesn't affect my game in any way.
